Lenny g's Taste of Louisiana brings authentic dishes from bayou country to the fine folks out here in Southern California. The city of New Orleans, Louisiana is widely known for its Cajun and Creole cuisine and abundant seafood. In Southern livin', large gatherings of family and friends are always accompanied by a combination of good eatin' and an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.

We hope you either want to try something different or you have previously experienced some down-home Louisiana eatin' and crave more. Visit our farmer's markets to savor the Taste or have us cater your special event.

"It is near impossible to find authentic Cajun and Creole food in Los Angeles. So we citizens of the 818 should consider ourselves lucky to have access to the real McCoy every Sunday at the Montrose Harvest Market." >> read full review

In order to fully appreciate the Taste, one must understand a few details about how things are done:
  •  Everything is prepared when ordered so please be patient – we believe that good food can be done in a timely fashion but must never be rushed.
  •  "Blackened" is a method of cooking where the food is rubbed with a secret mix of spices, herbs and seasonings and then seared through in a cast iron skillet. Very spicy...
  •  "Grilled" simply means that the food is cooked thoroughly in a cast iron skillet without the Blackening mix.
  •  Andouille is a spicy Louisiana smoked sausage made with pork, garlic, and cajun seasoning.
  •  Only high quality oil which contains 0% Cholesterol and 0% Trans Fatty Acids is used for frying foods.
  •  Breading for the fried foods is done the way it's done down in Louisiana – intended to season and crispify.
